ABOUT THE PROJECT
MEGAPIPELINE is developing a tool suite of ISO/IEC 23092 (MPEG-G) compliant software applications providing compression, storage, transport and manipulation of genomic data. The developed software components are integrated in genome analysis pipelines to enable new processing features, a reduction of storage costs and data streaming capabilities to connect sequencing facilities to storage or analysis sites.
STORAGE & TRANSPORT
Store, share and access data using standard formats and interfaces. Several coding modes are available according to the use case.
FASTER ANALYSIS
Efficient data access is supported by advanced data organization and classification enables the implementation of advanced analysis applications

Systems interoperability is guaranteed by the compliance with ISO/IEC 23092 documented by extended sets of conformance tests
PARTNERS
Imegen develops genome analysis platforms with customers in hospitals, medical laboratories and research centers. The Pirbright Institute owns a portfolio of software pipelines for data analysis, specifically tailored to livestock and viral diseases. Integration of the MPEG-G technology developed by GenomSys is creating a new set of genome analysis pipelines able to process large volumes of genomic data.
